This Indenture, made this eleventh day of September one thousand eight hundred and thirty two, between David Baker and Betsey Baker his wife of the town of Macedon in the county of Wayne, and state of New York, of the first part, and Walter Johnson, of the town of Macedon in the county of Wayne, and state aforesaid of the second part. Witnesseth; that the parties of the first part, in consideration of the sum of six-hundred dollars, to them duly paid hath sold and by these present, doth grant and convey to the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, all that tract or parcel of land, situate in the town of Macedon in the county of Wayne, and state of aforesaid, and is part of lot number thirty six described and bounded as follows, (viz.) beginning five rods thence east parallel with the south line of said lot forty three rods. Thence south-parallel with the west line of said lot, ninety five rods to the south line of said lot, thence west on the south line of said lot, forty three rods to the place of beginning containing twenty five acres of land, be the same more or less, with the appurtenance and all the estate title and interest therein, of the parties of the first part, And the said parties of the first part, doth hereby covenant and agree to and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, that the premises above conveyed in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns will forever Warrant and Defend, against every person whomsoever; In witness whereof the parties of the first part have here unto set their hands and seals the day and year above written.

Wayne County Js: On this 20th day of April A.D. 1833 came before me Zachariah Vanduzer, 2d a commissioner of deeds of said county David Baker and Betsey his wife to me known to be the persons described in and who executed the within deed, and acknowledged that they executed the same for the uses and purposes herein contained, and the said Betsey being of my privately examined separate and apart from her said husband acknowledged that she executed the same freely without fear or compulsion of her husband.
